Walk Through the Lake Park

A carpet of dry leaves and a landscape dominated by skeletal trees - cold and grey...

An occassional burst of color...
And then some visitors from afar...

A camera loving trio

A loner...

And the one with the brown feathers and a stern look...

In flight...

I love the dry leaves fallen all over the path. They conjure up strange emotions.

Of love lost and idle pondering. Reminisces of days gone and hope for the future to come.

Sometimes they remind me of the movie 'Aandhi' even though i dont remember such a scene in it.

Is mod se jaate hain
Kuchh sust qadam raste kuchh tez qadam raahe
Patthar ki haveli ko shishe ke gharaundo mein
Tinko ke nasheman tak is mod se jaate hain
Is mod se jaate hain .....

Ik door se aati hai paas aake palat-ti hai
Ik raah akeli si ruktii hai na chalti hai
Ye soch ke baithhi hu ik raah to woh hogi
Tum tak jo pahonchti hai is mod se jaati hai
Is mod se jaate hain

Kavitha: You are very welcome. We will miss the Lake too, if and when we move out of Greenbelt.
