...Or how Michael Clayton nearly saved the week
Three days of continuous rain along with two days of continuous kitchen disasters (sticky gummy lo mein on day one, followed by uncooked pizza on day two) make for an unmitigated train wreck of a week said a great-man-from-ages-ago. Apparently the great-man-from-ages-ago had never tested the combined, curative powers of a good movie and chinese takeout. I would highly recommend it - I mean the movie, not your local chinese takeout as I have no clue what it is like.
Beware though, the positive vibes from the experience may lull you into believing that all is well. And before you know it, you would have baked a cake without baking powder and the good people you baked it for, will sit around and actually eat it without a complaint...that too after feeding you the most scrumptious of home made malpua's. Since the good people know who they are, their names will not be mentioned. But at some future point they will be presented with a fluffi-est, moist-est, yogurt cake speckled with blueberries.
